It's covered in the last chapter of the book I'm reading. It says that their parents grew up and still watch network TV news. Millennials rarely watch that stuff. It's cable TV and internet shows for their info..

because the 18-39 YO group has the most to lose. For some, literally their lives. But kudos to them for realizing they have skin in the game and having an opinion that seems to be based on thought and not platitudes.

Millennials are in a unique position among other generations: we have enough of our life left that we tend to care greatly about the next 20+ years, and we tend to have young kids so we’re very protective of their future.

Speaking as a Millennial, I fear that Reddit and the hipster movements of the early 2010s have single handedly destroyed the reputation of an entire generation. But to be fair older Millennials (in their 40s now) fell for the Obama black Jesus thing hook line and sinker whereas your 1990s / borderline Gen Z Millennials went more towards Trumpism. Just my observation.

I think it's really the women millennials. It is rare to find a conservative one. Most of them say they want a man but no-trump supporters.
