Ive had better experiences (although experiences isnt the point) doing the Jesus prayer given to me by my priest (heavy breathing with repeated prayer and focused mind) then with heroic doses of shrooms that ive done multiple times in my life (not all experiences are bad, just saying after experiencing both breathing is better)

Shroom heoric experiences- being eaten by snake made of stars while floating in the universe, watching my body decompose on a couch as seasons passed by until only bones are left, a blue budda who talked shite to me the whole time, throwing up beetles and bugs, throwing axes inbetween a valley the whole scene tinted red while fighting demons.

Jesus prayer experience- true healing of the soul, weeping, a warmth beyond explanation. 10/10 way better than tripping imo.

I used to have a very problematic friend with some dark drug issues. He said he had a bag of DMT in his freezer and every time he opened the door he could hear the devil calling him from that bag.

One time I sex’d a witch at Mardi Gras and she wanted me to smoke DMT with her the next day. Something about that combined with crippling hangover depression just really turned me off to doing it.
