Agree, I’d love to see what a competent coach could have done with this personnel. Talent is there, appropriate utilization and good coaching is not.

Both Millers
Chest
Collins

Chest and Collins have high level athleticism you can’t “teach”. The Millers have skills that can, with a better HC, be further developed and maximized.

The others aren’t bad players. They just, IMO, aren’t unique enough to be difficult to replace (if need be)

The 2 Miller’s, Givens and Corey Chest. That core must be retained for next season.

I’ve seen enough of givens… He stinks.

V miller possibly has SEC level future, but he walks around beneath a cloud of weed all day.

Our guards simply aren’t good.. can’t handle and lead.. Mike Williams seemingly deserves a chance, but if he can’t impact this year then bye.

Collins / Miller .. sure. Fine. But neither strong enough to impact the SEC… Did you see the size of Tennessee last night? Do you see the size of the Florida gators?… We aren’t even in that ballpark

If a new coach came in I'd let him do whatever he wanted. If he wanted to retain 8 guys and find 5 new ones, so be it. If he wanted to cleanse most of the roster and bring in 10-11 new guys I'm all for it. I'm not attached to anyone on this team who could return personally (thats currently playing and has eligibility left). Not that everyone is bad or something, just we could upgrade basically everywhere IMO.

If I had to rank potential returning players in terms of what I think they could contribute (if we're not including Tyrell Ward who is likely gone regardless, he would be #1/#2 for me), it might look something like:

1. Jalen Reed
2. Vyc Miller
3. Daimion Collins
4. Robert Miller III
5. Corey Chest

6. Mike Williams

7. Curtis Givens III

8. Noah Boyde

Millers, Givens, Chest, Reed

Mike Williams alternate.

We have the potential to be good next year. Freshmen really coming along. Another good class, get Reed and Ward (?) back, and good transfers...we could push.

It's harder than I would have thought.

Reed, R. Miler, and V. Miller Are my first three. Then it gets more difficult—two of Ward, Givens, Collins, Chest, and Williams. We need a point guard, so probably Givens. Then you gotta decide who provides the best skillset to complement those 4. I'd probably go Collins but there are pluses and minuses on all of them.

I'd rather keep all of them

Reed Colin’s Chest both Millers

Givens may become a better player but needs to get stronger.

Bring in 2026 class and sign SEC caliber PG and another physical big and 2 guard and they can take a big step up.

Reed Collins both millers chest.

Robert miller has really popped the last few games, even against Tennessee he didn't score much but he gets that ball moving. I do think the rotation of him Reed Collins and chest next season could be pretty good

I would raise $2 - 3mil NIL and get a top 3 point guard and the best 3 point shooter I could find, maybe Caleb Grill.and try to re-sign Josh Gray. Keep the rest. This team is only 2 or 3 good players away from being competitive. I don't think it would cost more than $2 or 3 mil to get this.

Do you see any of our team that would start for the ranked SEC teams? If we want to be competitive again in NIL era we cannot settle for average to good players

For the players I'd be willing to keep I wouldnt necessarily call most any of them starters....Reed probably, Vyc Miller probably. If Rob Miller took a big leap, sure.

Everyone else, rotational guys. I like what Collins and Chest bring but neither should be playing 20+ minutes a game IMO.
