He wasn't nearly the most prolific songwriter of the bunch, but when he hit, he hit. Something. Here Comes The Sun. Taxman. Also his solo hits, My Sweet Lord, What Is Life, among others.

We lost him way too soon. Happy birthday to the Quiet Beatle:

The only soul in that band was Paul McCartney and Billy Preston. John Lennon also had a lot but lower that the two aforementioned.
