Pretty brutal other than Johnny Marr and the Pixies

They are shaking from being old and washed up.

There are a few bands I would be down to see:

Murder By Death (always a great show)
Mdou Moctar
Deftones (they've been really great since they got focused after Chi's accident)

Pretty good hit rate, but overall a pretty light lineup compared to some of the other lineups that have come out so far

I’m a fan of some of the undercard acts, the Stews and Michigander have really good stuff, especially the Stews. I think the Backseat Lovers are really good too, maybe they are bigger than I realize bc I’m shocked to see them side by side with TV on the radio.

I can't believe Johnny Marr is a 4th-rate listing on that card.

Not wild about the headliners but the undercard is strong: Friday: Pixies, Idles, Spoon; Saturday: Cage the Elephant, Black Keys, TV On the Radio; Sunday: Vampire Weekend, Alabama Shakes, Devo.

I agree. It's solid IMO.

I'd go for Michigander, Marr, Inhaler and the Pixies.

Saw Cage the Elephant at Shaky Knees the year Tame Impala was the headliner and they were great live.

All top and second line acts are comprised of band members over 40, right?

I’m old too, but this looks to have become a paw paw fest.

blink and MCR are pretty popular with millennials especially MCR so Shaky will continue to be largely millennials and a mix of some Gen Z and a but of Gen X

Also Emo and pop punk has had a resurgence thanks to places like Tik Tok so definitely won’t be something like a jam band fest where’s its majority older people

VS bands where all the members are in their 60s and 70s?

Taylor Swift is pretty popular, she's 35. Beyonce is 43. Those are your big pop stars. So, I don't get what being 40 has to do with anything.

Got my tickets this morning. I think I’ve only missed the first year. Personally, I love the lineup this year outside of My Chemical Romance. I imagine that crowd will be full of dorks.

Lots of Emo and former Emo kids running around this year. Also it won’t be as crowded since Piedmont Park is a lot bigger than Central
