Every “Elon wasn’t elected” should be met with the following:

“I feel your pain...The people running the White House for the last four years while Biden was drooling in his pajamas weren't elected either."

Then follow up with, "Funny, I don't remember you whining about that."

Yeah, and they ran Kamala, who wasn't even elected by the people as the Democratic candidate.

Yeah, do more to incentivize Democrat votes in the midterms, that should be great for the country.

They would never own that.

I don’t converse with slow adults. Federal judges aren’t elected either. Is ok not to do what they say?

It is the most retarded claim ever.

The executive branch employees more than 4 million personnel, many of them with sweeping access to data and power either extended by the office of the President or abdicated by Congress.

Only 2 of those 4 million are elected and they come as a package: POTUS and VP.

That's it. So the claim of "unelected" people with too much power/access (think FBI, DOJ, NSA, and IRS) can be extended to over 3,999,998 employees of the executive branch.

It is a facially and substantively idiotic and dishonest argument. I have learned to ignore those when possible.

Where were the Republicans during those 4 years? No leadership. Pathetic bunch of sheep.

In 4 years Mark Cuban will be doing the same thing for the left. At least he understands how things work and isn’t a Keta fiend.

Neither were any of the bureaucrats that have been in the agencies for decades yet were supposed to ignore that because Elon is rich and Orange man bad.

What’s the difference in DOGE having access or making cut recommendations to the president and some obscure “public servant” having access to everyone’s data? It makes no logical sense unless you just hate Elon and Trump. If that’s the case just say so. Say you prefer your people having power versus the administration that was elected.

This is a really stupid talking point.

Exactly TWO people in any presidential administration are "elected," and they then surround themselves with hundreds-to-thousands of unelected "helpers."

How is Musk any different, beyond being more famous?

It's really simpler than that. Everyone who says Elon wasn't elected just demonstrates themselves to be stupid because virtually no one running government agencies was elected. They were all hired by somebody or appointed by political actors. They are all acting like the concept of presidential advisors is something invented a month ago

No, just show them the list of non elected departments of our government. Then they'll realize a LARGE portion of their life is dictated by non elected people.

Couldn't give a shlt. Neocons like you can sit back and enjoy the ride. You're not in charge anymore, though. Trump is, and he doesn't give a fk about your sensibilities.

Most of the executive branch is unelected. Only two people by my count and one of those two is worth about as much as a jar of warm piss allegedly.

I don’t get this angle. I think they want to argue that Trump is just jib-jabbing and Musk is the defacto president but pointing that out is a little on the nose considering 4 years of Weekends at Biden’s.
