1. Lake Charles -7.3%, 2 Houma -6.4%, 3.New Orleans -5.1%, 4. Lafayette -4.1%, 5. Shreveport -3.9%.

LINK

Alexandria comes in at number 10, -2.5%. Surprised to see Odessa at #6 with all the predicted drilling in the Permian. I find this strange, there is nothing for sale in our zip code and when homes come on the market, they go quickly. Still shocked that Louisiana dominates the top 5.

Well shocked may be a bit of an overstatement. Maybe bemused.

This is weird considering the boom we are about to get from other countries having to pay us tariffs to use the Gulf of Louisiana

While Zillow expects home prices across most of Florida to rise over the coming year, ResiClub remains skeptical. After all, Florida has experienced a significant increase in active inventory and months of supply over the past year, which could signal potential pricing weakness. Indeed, single-family and condo prices are currently declining in most Florida housing markets.

Excellent, just in time for my retirement planning. Burn baby burn.

Not shocked. Long time coming.

Lake Charles has been overpriced for going on a decade. Very proud group of folks it seems.

Maybe Zillow is figuring Ron will be successful in getting rid of the state's property tax?

Trump is gonna re-nationalize flood insurance and we’ll be back on top.

Not a lot of people want to relocate to the Permian. Those that do buy usually go for Midland.

I've been looking in Mandeville and use Zillow a good bit, Not that much for sale. Some of the houses are sitting (usual the ones that are overpricing their PPSF), but there is a number of pending sales posted. This doesn't make much sense based off the forecast.

That's tough to believe. Greenville MS had to be one of the worst in existence already.
