seriously, why waste your time on this? Real baseball fans know what is up. It is only the trolls that act like we are doomed.

I would argue that it's BECAUSE they lost to inferior teams that they became even more determined to become champions.

So early loss to an inferior team may be the route to championship!

Dumb listing SEC teams. You can’t guarantee SEC wins against anyone.

Do they lose these type of games when they don’t win national championships too?

Anyone who says they are a real LSU baseball fan and doesn't know that anything can happen during a game and that the season is a marathon and not a sprint should be ignored. No one goes undefeated in baseball.

Well that’s baseball. Just accept the fact that LSU, or any college or pro baseball team, is not going to go undefeated. Get over it, man.

Because he's the guy that always thinks he's the smartest in the room and needs to try to prove it.

By default, mid week or early season games to inferior opponents are at a greater risk of losing because you may not be pitching your top guys and, early in the season, those teams are likely pitching some of their better pitchers. Those wins go a long way at the end of the season when those teams are trying to get bids to make the post season. Your top ranked teams will likely have 1-2 losses like this during the season.

At least one of these happen almost every year. Does it mean we have no shot to win it all - obviously not - history as you point out- reveals that.

It’s February and it’s baseball. If you’re worried about losing a game where we had the tying run on 3rd in the 9th then you need help. Sometimes you just have a bad game and Johnson was playing with the lineup.
On top of that, they rebounded and destroyed Omaha game 3, which is exactly what you want to see.

How can you not be excited about:
Anderson
Eyanson
Shores
Casen
Cowen
Rizy
Ware
Schmidt
Williams
Primeaux
Noot

Johnson will figure out this lineup. We are far more talented than last year and Johnson was so close to knocking off UNC to advance to the supers.

You’re not that dumb Lester…

They lose games like this every year, but the point is that it doesn’t mean they’re not a championship team just because they lose games like this
