What's the biggest bank robbery in Louisiana history?

Watching "The Town" and in the movie they steal $3,500,000.
Due to Louisiana being the crime capital of the Country I'm curious what's the largest ever pulled off.
Solved and Unsolved.
Or the biggest you can recall in your lifetime.

There was an armored car heist in Shreveport about 20 years ago. The total was only around a million dollars, but the events surrounding the heist was a bigger story.
The robbers were witnessed switching vehicles from a suburban to a van. Police spotted the van and began a pursuit heading into Bossier. The robbers swung open the back doors of the van, and shot a police officer in pursuit on the interstate.
They exited the interstate and fled into a Bossier neighborhood. Some busted into homes and held the homeowners hostage. Some pretended to pull weeds out of flower beds as police swarmed the neighborhood. All were eventually caught.
Included in the group was a hitman and his son. The hitman confessed to several murders and other crimes across the country to reduce his son’s prison sentence.
A series of connected crimes dating back decades were solved once the hitman was caught as a part of this robbery. Also the brother of a prominent Bossier political family was one of the robbers.

By googling I found this.
I am sure if I look a little harder I can answer your question.

In 1984, five men stole a helicopter, got greedy, and then used the helicopter to steal $163,000 (a little over $400,000 today) from a small bank in Louisiana.

The takedown of Ouachita National Bank by the perpetrators of the Frenchman's Bend real estate scheme. This led to its takeover by Louisiana National Bank, which couldn't digest all the toxic loans and failed too. Eventually the whole mess got taken over by Chase.

Wingo and Glass escaped from the Minden jail and robbed and murdered the Browns in Dixie Inn in the 70s. Not sure how much they got.
Texas Rangers caught them in Cass County a few days later. I think the bloodhound’s name was Camille.
Both were returned to Louisiana and got the electric chair.

I lived between Benton and Princeton, people were freaking out. I'll admit to a few sleepless nights.

It wasn't the 70s. It was Christmas Eve 1982

Just Newt and Erlene. I heard those names on the news so many times that I still remember them 40+ years later.

Leesville La Bank and Trust, 12 million dollars and an armored truck, its a whole lotta money if you dont have to pay the taxes
James Pastell wrote the Ballad of Leesville 5 about this heist

ok its not even close to Louisiana, but I always found it amazing how the Provisional IRA was able to steal like $30 million dollars from the Northern Bank in 2005, without ever stepping foot in the bank. And only like 200k was ever recovered
