No, Karen, leaving your laptop open while you do an hour of Peloton doesn’t count as “doing something” You’re fired.

I’m triggered because I’ve gotten a micromanager for a boss, and we spend more time in meetings discussing what I’m doing than what actually doing my job.

Well, we are all of their bosses. And I want to know what the hell they are accomplishing for the ridiculous amount of taxes they collect.

They can all have chatgpt or some other AI bot respond to that email in about 30 seconds. Doesn’t mean shite.

Elon is goingg to come up with a solution to the conference call.

They are long and not very productive.

He’s also got an algorithm to measure every email response back from the 3million employees.

This is very interesting.

If you want to get a lot of them to quit, simply make them do time sheets (much like accountants and lawyers) to account for every 15 minutes of their day. They’ll f*cking freak.

And tell them that if they get caught lying on their timesheets, it’s a federal f*cking offense that they can go to prison for

Yeah ive always hate managers like that. I had one for 3 years. Micromanager. All he wanted was to micromanage...didn't really do anything to help with the team

I'm willing to bet about 30-40% of the fedgov workforce already has to do this is some form or fashion already.

Me thinks you’re overestimating the gumption of the average fed employee

While I realize you are talking about 'federal' and not necessarily locally most of us are severely underfunded. There is probably zero chance that my department could cut anything. I actually 'work' in two different departments which both would be considered essential.
