I'm with you on the punter. Having a bad punter is a huge problem.

I think braelin Moore, the VT center is going to be extremely vital to success.

I think Delane and Nic Anderson will have the biggest impact.

I think most people already believed he would be a welcome addition if he can be consistent. There's no rule that states the punter has to be the holder, though. I don't know if he's even done that before, since some teams use quarterbacks as holders, such as Matt Flynn.

It better be one, or both, of those transfer O-lineman, or Nuss will be in deep shite. I don't see much in our returning offensive line.

Punter is a good pick here. But we got Blake O. last offseason who was a good punter we turned to hot dog water somehow here

I dont know that some of you read the OP. It said "sleeper" transfer. Nic Anderson and Mansoor Delane were 2 huge pickups out the portal, theres nothing "sleeper" about them.

Anderson had a 800 yard/10 TD season already at a power conference school and was one of the top WRs in the portal ranking wise. Delane was all conference himself and rated highly in the portal.

Haven’t we gotten transfer punters the past two seasons and neither of them were any good?

Holder and Long Snapper. It was weird because Roy had been rock solid. Hope one of the two new guys can do better this season.

Bramblett was solid, Oschendorf not so much.

I'll go with Donovan Green.

Neither Tre'dez nor Sharp are great in-line blockers. Green has a chance to see a lot of time as a blocker to help open up the run game. He's no slouch as a receiver either.

Was he?

Bramblett - 40.9 yard average, 7 punts inside the 20 for 26.9%

Ochsendorf - 40.2 yard average, 7 punts inside the 20 for 58.3%

Todd - 41.3 yard average, 5 punts inside the 20 for 26.3%

And he averaged 44 in his first year at LSU too with an overall net average above 40 yards in both seasons. I'm not saying he was an All-American, but that's pretty solid numbers.

All three of those guys averaged over 40 yards. I agree he was probably better than our two punters last year, but not by much. Bramblett's last year at LSU might have been his worst year of college overall.
