The CIA has been secretly deploying MQ-9 Reaper drones over Mexico

CNN - CIA flying covert drone missions into Mexico to spy on drug cartels
They are tracking drug cartels. Once the shite hits the fan, its going to be over quick for the cartels. We will have all of their sites, routes, etc figured out quickly and then the fun begins.
Why have we never attempted this in the last 30+ years?
Imagine how much getting rid of the cartel's hold on MX could mean for the prosperity of MX.
Make Mexico Great....for the first time ever!

We didn't have drones 30 years ago
We have taken out cartels, trained Mexican forces with SF, etc. for 30-40 years now. It doesn't work long term. The voids are filled quickly.
One time, the US-trained special forces became a cartel (Los Zetas)

If the CIA is involved they'll likely fund and give arms to the cartels to attack and try to reclaim Texas.

Because WE (the CIA) are the cartels. The cartels provide the CIA’s black budget.

We need to help MX invest in itself so it's mutually beneficial and cartels arent an attractive option. We should be manufacturing more in the USA but use MX as a secondary option instead of China.

Getting rid of the corrupt National Police and even beat cops would go a long way. They are very entrenched.

I’m talking drone strikes, SOF raids and maybe even a buffer zone inside the Mexican border controlled by the US military.
