Noticing real changes. Gulf of America

I frequent the USGS earthquake map often. Basically it's a daily routine.
Today I noticed a couple of things were different.
First, the oceans, lakes and waterways were colored blue. Before, the map simply had one monotoned white color, with outlines of counties marked in black lines. Ok, whatever. Basic.
Secondly, as I saw the bodies of water were marked and identified... there it was - 'Gulf of America' on the official USGS website.

It is becoming a reality. I don't get how he pulled it off. I did not know that an EO is all you need to have in renaming water, streets, and land.

Barry did it with Mt. McKinley.
Joe did it with military bases.
Now it's our turn.

The United States for America as a country, predates Mexico. So we have dibs.

We will know it's real when other countries start putting it on their maps

Well we are both part of North America so honestly Gulf of America is probably more fitting bc it touches US as much as Mexico. The name Gulf of North America or North American Gulf would have worked too.

Exactly. That’s what this really is, and I’m all in. Take it all back and if nothing else send a message to the Marxists that America is back.

The red lines? Tectonic plate boundaries.

When you have TDS and hate America, you post stuff like this.

Well shite, I was hoping you'd say the fishing is picking up. Mrs. Axe and I are planning a trip to Gulf Shores once the Pompano move in.

Looks like we have a constitutional crisis on our hands! Some insurectiony types have changed the Gulf back to "Mexico"!

I can’t imagine how anyone could give a frick about this much less consider it a “real change”

I'd spend the time to explain it to you but if you can't grasp basic sarcasm even though we're talking about an official US GOVERNMENT RUN WEB SITE, then never mind.
There were other changes, if you were paying attention. I know this because, as I said, I check this website almost daily.
But stay mad at absolutely nothing.

Gulf Of The Americas would have been even better. Hard to argue about that geographically.
By the way, who first named it the Gulf of Mexico? Mexico? Never have heard that explanation.
