$4.5T in tax cuts, $1.5T spending cuts.
Why TF does no one want balanced budget???
How about $1.5T in tax cuts and $4.5T in spending cuts?

A little breaking news here—-
A balanced budget really doesn’t matter.
It’s all imaginary.
Fairy dust.

The last Trump tax cut took money out of the unproductive government's hands and put it into the people's hands and the productive economy. The result was a net rise in tax revenue.
Funny how that works.

Tax cuts are a good thing I'm sure it's hard for your commie mind to process

I like the 4.5T in tax cuts, but how much more can we chip away in spending cuts? Another trillion?

A rising tide raises all boats
Cut taxes across the board and you'll see revenue go up. Consumer spending is where it's at

It happened with Reagan, too. When he cut taxes the tax revenues went up.

Your tax cuts are
1) a grossly overstated amount, and haven’t happened yet. You don’t seem to understand Trump’s negotiating strategy.
2) tax cuts =/= reduction in tax revenue. Please learn about the Laffer Curve.
Having said that, I agree that Republicans and Trump himself have been bad about not cutting spending, despite their rhetoric. I
In Trump’s last term in office, he capitulated to Dems spending. I think he was still too new to the process, and didn’t have the same political capital, not least of which was because of the corrupt Russia collusion hoax and the slavish MSM sycophants who propelled that horsecrap into the homes and minds people.
I don’t take seriously any Dem or anti-Trump RINO who is complaining about Trump or Republican’s lack of fiscal responsibility. What a farce. I’ll only consider such criticism from true fiscal conservatives.

Seems to me we could have $2.7T in spending cuts. Here's a link for you: DOGE finds $2.7T

The deficit increasing since those tax cuts proves you wrong though.

You balance a budget by spending less, not by stealing more money from citizens to pay for your stupid laundering projects, dipshit

This board is preoccupied with the conman's misdirection
The debt is shifting to a new swamp
Elon will make out like a bandit
But he's sucked billions from us for over a decade
It's Trump derangement to think otherwise

Baw, don’t be so dense. You forgot about spending. Biden was a spending like a drunken sailor on shore leave.
“Forget about your student loans! How about some ‘anti-inflation’ stimulus money! Get you COVID relief money right here!”

Yep, Elon just sucking up fedgov dollars with nothing to show for it.
Tesla?
Starlink?
Space x?
AI?
Nothing good with the money, I say!

It depends how they are counted. The tax cuts will add that over 10 years.
Elon wants to cut over 1 trillion a year. That is over 10 trillion over 10 years.
