Now, what is the recourse for when judges ignore obvious conflicts of interest and don't recuse themselves from cases? I can't think of one that doesn't involve a lengthy process.

If true, there is a possible conflict of interest and the judge should be formally investigated for violating judicial ethics.

Corruption begets corruption.
