KC being cast as the “villains” shows just how soft this nation has become

How did we go from hating an actual villain like the Patriots to hating a team just for having success like the Chiefs? Let’s break it down:
The Patriots were caught blatantly cheating multiple times and never faced punishment more than a slap on the wrist. They had a qb not only getting calls, but had the league changing rules to benefit him. They had a literal murderer score a touchdown in the Super Bowl!
Now the Chiefs:
1. Have a qb that gets some calls like every superstar player in every sport ever (even though statistics say otherwise)
2. Have Taylor Swift
There’s a murderer playing in this Super Bowl, but he plays for the other team.
I guess it’s just unsuccessful people hating greatness, a tale as old as time.
frick Philly, the entire shithole city and their entire shitstain fanbase.

I’d guess it’s the Mahomes late/fake sliding and the referee bias.
But hey it could be the retardation you posted too.

What?
Over the course of history, those outside of the teams city, have not liked perennial winners.
Everyone outside of NE hated the Pats, and a lot still hate Brady.
Nobody likes the Dodgers outside of LA and they haven’t even gone on a run (yet).
Look at your Yankees…nobody likes them.
Etc, etc…
Doesn’t make the country soft; just means we get bored seeing the same team win.

If I went into a lab to create the most unlikeable personality I could, I couldn’t do better than Kelce. He’s the sole reason I don’t like the Chiefs.

Villains drive ratings.

Not the thug for the Eagles that killed two people? Not the woke Eagles qb who’s only relevant because of a play that should be illegal? Not the Eagles mercenary rb that cares about no one but himself? That’s weird, but ok.

No, it just shows that people are tired of seeing the same team win over and over again. See the Patriots in the 00s and 10s for additional references.

That what I’m saying. Kelce is such a fricking douche he’s less likeable than all those guys.

I think you’re just mad that he has a billionaire that also happens to be the biggest star on the planet cooking for him. Kelce is next level greatness.

NFL is rigged, Jerry. Deal with it.

They were lovable underdogs 5 years ago.
People are tired of them now.

Head coaches son who killed people
WR who almost killed people
Resigned a running back that beats women

Ok that’s fair
And to the subject of that post, yes, they are all easier to hate than the GOAT of life Kelce.

Mahomes has shown he’s not an elite QB in terms of statistics. Especially this season. He has done some questionable antics to draw calls. He has thrown a fit in loses complaining about the calls or lack their of(remember him being a bi**h) when they lost to the Bills.
The RT tackle for Kansas City is offsides about every damn okay.
Kelce is a huge douche, and I would take it most true NFL fans are not Swift fans due to politics and what not.
I still like Andy Reid, I like Harrison Butker, I think Spags and the defense are legit.
Kansas City has been on the side of way too many controversial calls, and I can’t recall one going against them in a crucial spot in the playoffs, when it mattered.
On a flip note, I can’t stand the Eagles either. Hurts is way overrated, the Tush Push is somewhat unfair especially how they refuse to let you try to stop it.
I hope both teams lose.
The real Super Bowl most wanted was Bills vs Lions(or Commanders after they won).

Who’s the murderer on the Eagles? I’ve not heard of this…

The sad thing is, we'll have to listen to your stupid act all through baseball season, too.

I’m sorry you feel like facts and reasonable takes are stupid. You can always watch First Take if that’s what you enjoy. No judgement.
