For the spurs the last coulple years with wemby. I believe many coaches out there would be winning more basketball games. Great coach long ago

he hasn’t coached since like October and this is literally Wemby’s second year. The Spurs have also been tanking for like 3 years.

This was actually a reasonable thread by him, although it was a relatively obvious take for the past 6 years or so.
Pop and Mahomes are similar
They aren’t great if they are the main character. They gotta have the correct pieces around them to succeed.

I am not a pop fan. But he has only coached wemby for 1 season. He hasn’t coached pretty much this entire season due to his stroke he had.
Pretty sure he will be done for good. But I guess his physical therapy could make him good again
Part of the issue with wemby is he is super young and he can’t do it all. Last year he was on minute restrictions. So at most played 25 minutes. He also needs to figure out his offensive game totally Teams want him to shoot from the outside and that is what he wants to do. He needs to continue to get thicker and play a more attacking inside game. In fox’s first game the other night Wemby won the game. He got the ball outside. Chris Paul was screaming at him to attack the basket. Scared he would just shoot from the outside. Wemby attacked went for a dunk. And got fouled. Made ft to win.

The only tine he was a "good" coach he had Duncan, Robinson, parker and Ginobli.
He stabbed Bob Hill in the back and has made a living off of the players mentioned above.
