Louisiana came in third.
It’s also hard to believe that Drew Brees was the first Texas QB to start a Super Bowl.

Pretty wild, I think no Texas born QB had played in the Super Bowl as a starter until Drew Brees?

Correct and still nobody from Florida

I would’ve thought Texas over lousiana

Louisiana, again punching way above its weight.

As a younger lsu fan this is the first I’ve heard of David Woodley. Interesting story. Wasn’t a starter at lsu but started in the NFL

Had no clue Troy Aikman went to HS (and apparently college) in Oklahoma

Wilson Alexander wrote a very good article about him 3 years ago for The Advocate but I can’t link on here for pay wall. Look it up.

Pennsylvania is a QB factory baw. Look at that list of ballers

Why just the SB era? I'd think all QBs in a championhip game, which the SB is, should be included.

started at OU as a true freshman and played 2 seasons, broke his ankle, lost his starting job as OU wins the NC with J Holloway wishbone QB, Aikman transfers to UCLA and is drafted #1 overall

Only two high schools have produced multiple Super Bowl QBs, and all four involved QBs have been Super Bowl MVPs.
