It may have been a frigid January for much of the U.S., but that didn't stop the planet from breaking another temperature record.

You guys just thought it was cold.

Two weeks ago it was record lows, now it’s record highs.

I expect Hurricane season to be a doozy.

January 2025 was still warmer than any previous start to the year in the organization's dataset going back to 1940.

It was 4 degrees in Lafayette on the 22nd, after a foot of snow and a blizzard warning. Cutting the USAID funding to these propagandists can't come quick enough.

From same article:

In addition to human-amplified climate change and natural global climate cycles, a growing amount of research suggests that a decrease in atmospheric aerosols could be a significant contributor to the rapid warming.

Atmospheric aerosols are tiny particles that reflect sunlight into space and reduce global temperatures. However, their concentrations have greatly diminished due to international efforts to reduce air pollution in recent decades

It turns out that it would cool the planet if we removed our catalytic converters.

Once we eliminate NOAA and all the data they have collected over the last 100+ years, we won’t have anything to compare to!

Warmest on "record" when written records have been kept since only the 1880's.

GTFOH with this bullshite fear mongering.

We just came out of the Mini Ice Age at the end of the 80's that lasted for roughly 350 years, so of course it's warming but not for the reason these fricktards think.

There is solid data that reductions in ship emissions (mostly the switch to low sulphur fuels) has measurably warmed the ocean, particularly around major sea routes, and this has led to a change in ocean currents.
