We are beyond honored and humbled to be invited to perform at Black Sabbath’s final show, back where it all began in Birmingham, England. On July 5 at Villa Park—home of Aston Villa—Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward will reunite to play their first show together in 20 years. Tickets go on sale at 10 AM GMT on Friday, February 14, via Ticketmaster UK and Live Nation UK.
As part of this huge celebration of nearly six decades of Black Sabbath, we’ll hit the stage just before a short solo set from Ozzy Osbourne, followed by the mighty Sabbath closing the show. Anthrax, Alice In Chains, Gojira, Halestorm, Lamb Of God, Mastodon, Pantera, and Slayer will also be a part of the massive night.
An incredible lineup of musicians from around the globe will also be on hand to pay tribute, including Billy Corgan (The Smashing Pumpkins), David Draiman (Disturbed), Duff McKagan & Slash (Guns N' Roses), Frank Bello (Anthrax), Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit), Jake E Lee, Jonathan Davis (Korn), K.K. Downing, Lzzy Hale (Halestorm), Mike Bordin (Faith No More), Rudy Sarzo, Sammy Hagar, Scott Ian (Anthrax), II (Sleep Token), Papa V Perpetua (Ghost), Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine), Wolfgang Van Halen, and Zakk Wylde.
I guess I gotta go. Last chance to see Ozzy probably.

Ozzy's in worse shape than Joe Biden these days. Can't imagine he's gonna actually sing

Luckily, I saw the original lineup in the '90s. Tickets for this will be impossible to get, like Zep's Celebration Day.

I'm most intrigued about this:

I've seen Ozzy three times.

I doubt the expense of it matters to people who want to go. For Zeppelin, 20 million people went into the lottery for tickets. Probably won't be that many people wanting tickets for Sabbath but I would think demand will exceed supply.

Can I ask a practical question at this point?
Are Black Sabbath actually going to play this gig?

I'm a massive Sabbath & Ozzy solo fan but I am questioning if Ozzy & Bill Ward can pull this off & wonder how long they will play. They are both not in good health. Nevertheless, this is a huge show & I would love to go but won't.

Probably so. I have seen this picture across multiple pages/sites and I think it’s pretty strange that Sharon is taking the picture rather than Ozzy.

says there will be a short Ozzy solo set before Sabbath takes the stage. It may look like the Ozzy solo band might be: Jake E Lee, Rudy Sarzo and Mike Bordin....
no way he can do both, unless it's 2 Ozzy solo songs and maybe 3 or 4 Sabbth songs. Proceeds from the show will support Cure Parkinson's, the Birmingham Children's Hospital and Acorn Children's Hospice, a Children's Hospice supported by Aston Villa.

Its not strange at all if you know the type of person Sharon is. Plus Ozzy can't stand up straight and can barely walk.

Totally bogus. I got up in the middle of the night to do the first pre-sale. was 4000th in the queue. My turn came up after about 8 minutes. And then...the seatmap simply would not load. I tried reloading over and over for like 30 minutes before giving up. Certainly it's already sold out, even from just the "first" presale. I wonder if they will allow secondary sales since it's charity.
