Remember when "conservatives" cheered Bush invading Iraq?

I remember. All the baws of 2003 were cheering as W invaded and were saying how wonderful the new "free" Iraq would be.
Then it all collapsed. And all the baws claimed they were never for the war to begin with.
Fast forward to 2025. America "taking over" Gaza may be the stupidest thing I have ever heard of. I voted for Trump 3 times because he promised to keep us out of wars in the middle east.
There is no way this ends well. Muslims will never tolerate western countries owning any of their land. Not ever.
Nor will they accept any of the Gazans to immigrate to their lands.
I hope there is some way congress can block this. Otherwise the term quagmire wont do this mess justice.

I was for war. I thought they did everything right up until they caught Sadaam. Then they should have installed a strong man, made him watch us kill Sadaam, then told him that’s what will happen to him if he doesn’t support our interests. Trying to turn Iraq into a democratic nation was stupid.

I don’t know the full on plan. He’s also only here for four years so I don’t know how feasible this vision really is.
