When Moore is announced as HC, what will

the flame posters stand on after spamming the board with "no one wants this job" and "this is the worst HC search EVER!!!!"
We will have gotten someone who checks the collective fanbases boxes in a young, offensive talent instead of a DC or a retread.
Who did we even "miss" on? Glenn that no one wanted? Ben Johnson who was only really looking at the Bears? Vrabel who was only looking at the Patriots?
Can you imagine the board reaction if we had hired fricking Pete Carroll or Brian Schottenheimer?
Just another lesson in spam posters being bottom feeding bitches.

BnG if Loomis is still in charge of the cap I won't give a flying f@ck who the coach is tbh.

Loomis is a problem. but that's a separate issue. We have to hope he is named and named often in the email leaks.
I think he gets a "promotion" this year or next and we finally get fresh blood at GM

Move on to complaining about the draft pick before it happens.

Like it or not, Loomis has been respected around the league from his days in Seattle to the present.

Dude, no one wanted this job, we were the first to fire and last to hire. Think before typing emotionally.

Just wondering what type staff hire for DC, would love to pluck Weaver from Dolphins

The narrative has already been started

I’m excited for KM but frick Mickey he gets zero credit for this hire. Loomis has botched this entire situation. He has zero leverage and will have to give KM everything he asks for.

That is how it works. There’s only one guy left to choose from because Loomis doesn’t know how to play his hand. But he gets credit for choosing that guy?
It’s just a coincidence that we are the last org to hire a new coach. Oh yea I’m sure McCarthy and Brady saw the writing on the wall right? That’s why they backed out because Loomis made it clear that Moore was the front runner right?
bullshite!!! Loomis backed himself into a corner and he’s just damn lucky Kellen Moore is still on the table and has the balls to maybe take this job. Loomis will have to give him everything he asks for which actually maybe good for us. But it doesn’t diminish the fact that Loomis is a dumb bitch

Technically, 2nd to fire. NYJ fired Saleh a few weeks before DA.
No team can start interviewing coaches from other teams until after the regular season, so the timing would be no different if they fired DA after week 1 or week 18.
Also, if they hire KM no one will know the truth because he will be sold as their #1 target; but if he was the #1 target (or 2 or 3 behind others that took a job), they couldn't finish the interview and offer him until after this weekend anyway

Only two coaches that I would have been excited about were Johnson and Vrabel. Same two I wanted last year.
Not overly excited with Moore but I like the gamble with his hire. Young OC who helped his team to the Super Bowl. Way better hire than Dennis Allen who I hated the last hiring cycle. He could be good, or he could be meh.
If we were hiring Allen, we should have gutted the team the last two years and got our cap in shape. Instead we went deeper in the abyss.

Just because the results aren't what we want doesn't mean we aren't doing things the right way.

Well I liked it up to Drew's last year.
Beginning four years ago I don't like it.

Loomis is not going to get the benefit of the doubt. But it’s very likely Moore was the guy the whole time. We just had to wait for an interview.
McCarthy knew it. Kingsbury knew it.

I'm guess the irony is lost on you.

You got that part right.
His methods of cap management caught up to him with nothing to show the past several seasons.
I like Moore as a potential hire. I just hope they give him a long leash and with low expectations through '26. It will take a couple years to rebuild almost the whole roster, IF Mickey doesn't frick it up.
