BIG had 23 basketball titles? Would have lost that bet.

Adding PAC-4 beefed up those numbers, especially basketball and baseball.

Those numbers are bullshite, since some of those schools didn't win shite in their current conference.

It’s sort of common for conferences to appropriate the history of schools as soon as they move in. I remember seeing an ad for the ACC talking about football history with a montage of Miami and … Jimmy Johnson from the 80s.

When doing these summations they should count a team's win for the conference they were in when they won the championship.

All the Big10 has to do is admit Arizona, Arizona State, Stanford and Oregon State and corner the NCAA Baseball title bragging rights forever.

I think that would give them about 32-35 Baseball Titles.

Which is why it’s based on current conference affiliation. Most knowledgeable people will know what prior conference a lot of these programs won their titles in.

Eleven of the B1G’s 23 basketball titles are from UCLA alone.

12 of the B1G’s 19 baseball titles are from USC alone.

Wouldn't hockey be bigger in the B10 than baseball?
