Not sure how I missed this one, but just now getting into it. 6 episodes into the first season binge. Really enjoying.
Oh, and the hooker (Brittany Gold) is pretty hot.

The first two seasons are great but season 3 went off the rails IMO. I still haven’t watched the fourth season to see if it got back on track.

It’s great.
The only thing that bugged me was the court shite where someone files something and there’s a hearing or filing the other side has to prepare for like the next day

You should just stop after the first season. the decline in quality is worse than the GoT trash progress for me.
ETA: season 1 is one of my all time favorite seasons of any show. just wish it continued that way.

Eh, I think you guys are over-shitting on the after S1, not great but watchable. That last 2 season of GOT was fn awful. If Goliath had a bigger budget it would have been better.

Agreed. It seems S2 is considered the 2nd best by people that have seen the entire series, but I thought that it was pretty mediocre. Can't imagine how bad S3/4 are. Season 1 works as a standalone, so just stop once you're done with it and pretend no other episodes exist.

It started ok, but the plot descended into confused, bad writing and the HR Puffenstuff amputee crap was disgusting and entirely unnecessary. I bailed at that point. That season 3 was allegedly worse is hard to imagine, but I'll never verify it myself.

Season 1 was great. Season 2 was pretty boring and I think in season 3 they attempted an overcorrection. I enjoyed the final season, and it had a David Lynch vibe.

Season 1 was GREAT! Watch S1 and pay full attention and enjoy it, then if you have other stuff in your queue to watch move to that. You won't be upset. And if you do go to S2 later it may even help to not go straight into it with how good S1 was fresh in your mind.
Season 2 was OKAY, but had waaayyy too much going on, too many bad guys to keep track of. Story itself got a little weird so that didn't help, but to me issue was too convoluted of a story you forget exactly who's the bad guys and who you should be rooting for. Hindsight shows this was the time to cut bait.....
Season 3 was TERRIBLE. Again a bit more going on that what needed to be. They revealed stuff early on that could have had more build up but traded that in for useless "weird factor" hallucinations that did not contribute to the plot whatsoever. Lazy writing to have that much screen time that literally does nothing for the plot.
After ep2 I just kept waiting for it to end, wife wanted to finish so I played on my phone as much as I paid attention to the series.
Season 4 was BAD. Slightly better than S3. Admittedly with how progressively worse the show went from OKAY in S2 to TERRIBLE in S3 I went in expecting it to not be good, but was hoping it could recapture greatness of S1. It did not. Again leaning into the weirdness with dream/hallucination sequences, though at least these did somewhat influence the story.

can verify for you. season 3 was awful. haven't seen season 4 yet. the decline after S1 people talked about is real.
