I don’t like how quiet it’s been, but hoping to see big changes that invite some hope for this franchise.

I don’t want to go into the off-season feeling like we have the past three years.

We are hoping we can get some B players.

The Lakers just got Luka out of nowhere for nothing.

It’s very hard to care about this retarded rigged league anymore.

Is everyone willing to admit now that Herb is in fact touchable ?

With DJ going down , Pels brass should approach this deadline and summer as total rebuild . If someone gives you fair value for Herb, Zion, Jose, Green, CJ take it and move on .

I don’t think the current “brass” deserves a chance to mangle another rebuild

I guess since the Fox deal is done, Klutch can now put all their energy and effort into finding BI a new home.

“Some time the best move is no move at all!”— DG or something like that after we don’t do anything except get under the tax

I never want the Pels to make a move to make a move.

But with BI, the Pels need to get almost anything bc he is going to walk in the summer.

Everyone else would probably be better to waiting until the off season

Herb is the PREMIER defensive guard in the entire league, on an exceptionally team friendly contract. You only give him up for a stupid deal like the Lakers just got, for an unquestioned star.

Trey, Herb, and Missi are exceptional pieces to build around. I'd trade anyone on this roster before I'd even discuss those three.

Who don’t win games. You forgot that part. This is a star driven league. For the better part of a decade, we have lacked star(s) who can take over games that matter in the last 3 minutes. Until you do, everyone is tradeable.

Look we all like herb.

This team is so far away from being good with or without Zion , they have to get back into asset collection mode .

For instance if Philly put Mcain on the table for Herb this summer , you would have to consider it .

It is all a matter of the right return.

At this point, I would consider young guys who show something to be at least worth considering. I’m not really interested in any non-lottery picks at the moment for anyone currently considered a core piece.

I’d listen to an offer centered around a player like McCain. Not really interested in a bukkake of crap picks from the likes of Utah and OKC.

He was the top All Defense member last year for guards. All the other top honorees were bigs.

Exactly. Griffin thinks BI is worth more than Luka at least.

This is a true statement .

Again , we all like Herb . He has actual value …maybe less now that he won’t play this season. But still a player in which you could positive return for of which the pelicans don’t have many . Still concerns offensively he’ll be looking for an extension after next season or looking elsewhere …

You can use herbs positive value to take some swings on more dynamic players . Yes, it will hurt on defense , yes, it won’t be great for the locker room. Yes it could backfire . But going down this same path is insanity .

The decision needs to be made: trade Z or start moving others to rebuild around Z and Trey .
