I just saw that on MSNBC!

Just kidding. You know they would never post anything that painted President Trump in a good light...and I wouldn't watch MSNBC except for reruns of election night tears.

Good catch, Stout. Thanks for posting.

That'll hurt. I don't think Canada and Mexico realize what type of pain they are in for if they want to do this. Sure for us it will be an inconvenience ,but this could totally arse frick thier economies in ways they fully don't comprehend. I expect them to come to the table pretty quick.

Had some Canadian friends back in the mid-2000s when I was deeply immersed in the online gaming community. I remember a very brief period during our W. Recession that they were kinda giggly because the value of the US dollar dropped to being ever-so-slightly lower than the value of the Canadian dollar.

My, how times have changed.

My friends weren't all "in your face gloating" about it or anything though. It was more like "wow, y'all have some work to do if your dollar is equal to ours". They were from Saskatchewan and pretty conservative-minded for being Canadians.

What recession? Do you mean the Barney Franks, Greg Meeks, Jimmy Carter Bill Clinton recession that waited until 2008 to blow up?

Yes, that recession.

And I'm no W. fan but I wasn't blaming him. I just called it the W. recession because it happened during his term, and his policies that fondled the balls of all his big oil buddies certainly contributed to the problem.

0.049 to 0.047. a drop of 0.002, or, more specifically, a 4% drop in value against the dollar. Good news, though. Those Mexican resorts are going to cost a lot less, unless Mexico starts charging a huge entry fee to vacation there.
