Who woulda thunk it... all he needed was the opportunity.

No one could have ever envisioned that!!

Since the BI injury:

24.4/5.4/3.5 on 64.3 TS%

That tends to happen when you lose your top 5-6 rotational players throughout the first half of the season.

Glad Pels were too worried about feelings to start Trey before he signed his extension. 4/$112M is going to end up an absolute steal.

For sure, but what have the Pels really learned? Are they down to just looking for bright spots? I like TM3 a lot, but he's part of the 12-37.

That's all we got this season. Trey and Missi as bright spots. Trey should be in the running for MIP and Missi should continue to show promise.

Not everything needs to be complete doom and gloom.

What are you even talking about most young stars develop because there teams are bad giving them opportunities to do more. What the Pels have learned is that Trey can be a legit #2 option on a team.

You tend to have 25ppg super efficient players?

I'd disagree on that assertion

Wel0, I guess Trey Murphys season is meaningless because of our record. Oh well...

Nope, our record means everything Trey has done means nothing.

Missi is a bust too, we wasted that 21st pick... Don't believe me... 12-37!!!

On a deep playoff/championship team, maybe. But he's starting to look like he could be the #1 option on a lot of teams. This calendar year, he's putting up 24/4/6 despite struggling from 3 (34%, we all know that he's better than that, and he's shot 13/22 the past two games). With the increased role and 3 not quite working, he's been forced to rely on his short and midrange games, and I'd say that he's doing better than most of us expected (his 3pt struggles may be good for his long term development). He's also been doing a great job drawing fouls, and he's had lengthy stretches of VERY good defense.

In 2025, if he had been shooting his career average on 3's (38.5%, vs 33.6 in 2025), then he jumps from 24ppg to 25.5ppg. That would be 12th best in the league right now, between Booker and Lillard. Ingram is a better midrange guy and distributor, but Trey is pretty close to being a better overall player. And Trey's overall game obviously is more valuable in today's NBA.

I’m sure you’ll be questioning TM3’s fit next to Zion this time next year.

If there is a basketball God, we should hopefully end up with Dylan Harper and we have our trio.

I guarantee all 29 other teams would salivate at the thought of adding Trey Murphy to their roster. He’s a star. This team has to find a way to get its shite together with Herb and Trey on good value contracts for a couple more years.

100%. It’s been known around the league that we could legit get a star level player with Trey as the centerpiece of a trade. But I want to keep him.

You can be "sure" and also wrong, which will be the case here.

I'll leave you to deal with being wrong about that.

Missi looked like ROTY before Zion came back.

More people up voted a reply that only said "12-37" then talking about how good Trey is, which shows everyone there's quite a few fake Pels fans running around in here

Some "Pels fans" want the failure, they do not want to see any player perform well here, they hate it.

This is a rather ironic take from you.

Oh look, you're making zero sense again

You've now made 2 post in this thread, none acknowledged the OP and how good Trey Murphy is.

If you admit how good he is, that hurts your love for BI argument.

You're proving that you're one of those fake fans. Congrats, you played yourself.

You can be a fan of BI above the Pels, I'll be over here putting the Pels first, as I've always done. You can't say the same, you're a fake fan.
