Just curious because I don’t really pay attention to the nba till the postseason

Has Bronny himself done anything to deserve all the hate he gets?

Or is it just because people hate his dad they just take it out on him

Pretty much this

He plays in the games and he’s not an nba caliber player so he’s doing his part

There’s also B) everyone knows it’s nepotism and the dude doesn’t belong on an NBA court. It’s a terrible look for everyone involved, including the NBA.

Some of us actually care about the game of basketball. It’s a joke. It’s also by far Lebron’s shittiest ego move and everyone seems to know it but Lebron, which makes the situation kind of sad.

Kind of a fine line between voicing displeasure and being an arse to the son. Makes it hard. So you end up with an arena full of people chanting MVP, which was hilarious btw.

His last name got him drafted and on the Lakers. Reason to not like the guy stems from either:
1. Last name
2. Jealousy
3. An idealistic love of meritocracy
4. A realistic hatred of nepotism

Let’s not pretend like he’s the first or last nepo baby in the history of sports…

Bronny is not playing high-leverage minutes and if he is, it’s not his fault. Coaches will take the fall.

He’s the first one that’s been paraded around so his dad can own the father/son records too while still active. That I know of at least.

I can’t think of another player where nepotism is the only reason they’re in their league. Bronny is not an nba player, full stop. Some of the other nepotism players at least had some talent and were maybe fringe guys that got to hang on because of who they were.

I certainly could be missing some, but none come to the top of mind

I understand LBJ dislike or jokes. I’ve never seen anything from Bronny himself but him playing basketball.

It's more of the sports world glazing him for no reason and posting highlights of his misses that's annoying and a bit much.

I was more answering the poster who asked did Bronny do anything to make ppl hate him.

Yea it’s “funny” when players have bad games / plays, but Bronny not out here saying or doing stuff , it’s his Dad that said and did stuff for Bronny.

Edit: If LeBron wasn’t his Dad, no poster or media would care what he was doing. He just keeps his head down and hoops.

His NBA "career" is an absolute embarrassment to everyone involved but LeBron isn't intelligent enough to be embarrassed.
