Too many crazy idiots out there, so we don't get to have a parade if the Chiefs win. Sad times.

quote:

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Multiple sources have confirmed to FOX4 that should the Kansas City Chiefs win Super Bowl LIX, there will be no rally for the public.

This comes after a mass shooting at last year’s Super Bowl champions rally outside Union Station.

Chiefs seek another Super Bowl sweep in rematch against Eagles
If they win, the celebration will begin with an exclusive gathering at Arrowhead Stadium for players, their families, Missouri Gov. Mike Kehoe and Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas. That gathering may be broadcast on screens along the parade route

This parade route has been designed to minimize crowd density. Planners expect to have special experiences along the parade route for fans to enjoy. .

The Chiefs won their first Super Bowl and a month later the entire country shut down for Covid and basically everything in the world has gotten worse since while they’ve kept winning

I know correlation doesn’t equal causation but it’s worth mentioning

Instead they'll have a private reception for the players, coaches, their families and friends and the refs.

Clark Hunt is giving a "frick you" to the fans of one of the teams his family owns? Must be a day ending in y.

Kinda is. Last year was unfortunate, obviously. Some of the players were helping little kids who were freaked out. They gave Mahomes shite because he drank a beer that night. The Chiefs wrote some
big checks. Innocent lady died because some dumb fricking kids. Just a mess.

TBH I dont care who wins... I will watch because I love the sport, regardless of how rigged it has become

But I will absolutely cheer on the Eagles, because I want to watch the victory riot afterwards... that's it... that's all... I want to watch Philly do Philly

Burn it down, turn it over, tear it down, scumbag all night!!!!

I was listening to 610 AM sports talk yesterday and host Carrington Harrison said the rally at Union Station was a no go but there would likely be a parade down Grand St. Not sure what the Chiefs and the city of KC are thinking, if some idiots pull out their guns and start shooting at one another what's it matter if its during the parade or at the rally down at Union Station?

I say all or nothing, have the parade and rally or frick it all. Personally, I think the Chiefs and city of KC are showing weakness. I can guarantee one thing, if the parade and rally were to be held you won't have to worry about any MS13 or Mexican cartel thugs attending, they're laying low in KC right now...lol.

I also heard there was a concern by the city of KC for liability if another gang related shootout were to happen. There was some discussions about the cost of insurance protection for the city and Chiefs after what happen during the Super Bowl parade and rally last year.....the cost has gone up.

Could be, or it could be after last year's shite show finding an insurance company to issue the liability insurance is not going well.
