I bought myself a bourbon of the month subscription from Flaviar.com and I was supposed to get a delivery today. I was excited all day about the possibility of having some different damn good whiskey when I got home from work. Today was a hell of a day at work and I really needed a drink. However when I got home I noticed that both of my dogs could not walk straight and there is green vomit all over the concert and three turd piles, and a fresh piss in the middle of the concrete. I get to the carport and find out why. There is a broken whiskey bottle on the ground and not much whiskey left. Damn UPS left the delivery on the ground where the dogs could get it. Not only that the driver told the company that I signed for the package. I wasn’t even home today. Long story short my dogs got to enjoy my fifth of 117 proof Wild Turkey Rare Breed barrel proof and I get to cuss out UPS customer service.

ETA: Not only did the driver lie about me signing for it. The entire package wasn’t supposed to be shipped to my house. I had it shipped to the local UPS store since I wasn’t going to be home to sign for it.

If I could just get them to deliver my package, Id be happy. 18 days since it was shipped and its been on the truck three days in a row and still no package.

The only issue I see from their perspective is that they lied and said you signed off on it, it’s not their responsibility to put your package in an area that your stupid dogs can’t get to. That’s like blaming UPS because they put a package on your doorstep and someone saw and steals it.

You had a bottle of expensive booze shipped and they didn't package the glass bottle in a box to protect it during shipping?

Flaviar.com is showing that and blaming UPS. UPS is saying that they shipped to the right address. Unfortunately the shipping label was eaten by the dogs, but the app says it was supposed to be shipped to the UPS store.

I’m not googling that. It’s a trap.

Your problem is not with UPS, it is with your dumb arse dogs. Maybe your dogs should be trained to not rip the frick out of packages and break open glass bottles? wtf kinda dogs you have, man? I have dogs and this isn’t even a possibility.

The dogs didn’t consume broken glass, did they?

Didn’t hold up against two thirsty labs.

ETA: Yes it did happen. LINK

Then your problem is a poorly trained dogs problem. It's pretty crazy they'd attack a cardboard box like that.

If you aren't against shock collars you should consider getting some and setting up a perimeter around the area you get deliveries.

Otherwise you need to train those pups up w/a trainer.

That's why you shouldn't order the kind of whiskey that comes in plastic bottles.

Or at least serve themselves in a decent rocks glass and not down it like kids with Jim Beam.

I wonder if UPS driver chucked the package towards your door. Got a ring camera?

Furthermore, our vendors are unable to ship to PO Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO (AE/AP/AA) addresses, courier depots, and mail forwarding services.

From their site. Perhaps this was your problem?

You overpaid regardless of what they sent you. You aren’t getting anything you can’t find at a local ‘mega’ liquor store if you have one, other than some niche local distilleries.
However, I am genuinely sorry because nothing beats a nice pour and time with healthy pups. Hopefully you get both this evening.

You don’t think UPS delivering the package to my house when I had specifically set the local UPS store as the delivery location is a problem? I knew my dogs would tear up a package and the UPS driver That normally delivers packages is too lazy to Set the package on the bakers rack by the door out of the reacher of the dogs. But you’re insistent that my dogs are the problem and not the UPS driver who delivered the package to the wrong address?
