Woke up this morning with a hacking cough. Thought it was from running the heat all night and maybe needing to change the filters.

Fast forward 20 hours and that cough has turned into a 101 Degree fever with all the associated bullshite. << That's Mint Tea.

The Indian dude next to me that refuses to cover his mouth, during a cough or a sneeze, at all, came in with a wet cough. The last time he did this shite, I was congested for five weeks starting Thanksgiving week.

I flew in from Asia today next to a guy from Hong Kong that was hacking shite the whole flight. I would think it is too soon to hit me and it's in my head but I got a tickle in my chest/throat. It will be hell if I got it.

Nevermind masks (which only catch snot), if people would just take pseudoephedrine or Mucinex before a flight, they wouldn't be super-spreaders, because they wouldn't be coughing or sneezing nearly as much. Think of the children!

I always had at least a couple of the good Sudafed in my carryon for every international flight, just so I wasn't that a-hole.

Can you take a covid and flu test? I know people who currently have it.

I could, but I don't see the point. I'm going to sit at the house, eat soup and drink gatorade and take fever reducers until it passes regardless of what a test says.

Covid, Influenza A, Strep throat, and Norovirus are going around. Influenza A- has the symptoms of norovirus with it, it seems.

Go to the doctor. Get a steroid shot and some Tamiflu. It will shorten your recovery.

My house has been a hotbed since Jan 2. I was sick for a week, then daughter had flu and wife had pneumonia, then i was sick again for a fee days and then other daughter has been sick. If I get sick again before February, I'm crawling into bed and not coming out until 2026.

Mucinex doesn't work. It's all marketing Bullchit.

FDA says decongestant in many cold medicines doesn't work. So what does?
For consumers, the change will likely mean switching to alternatives, including an older decongestant that was moved behind the pharmacy counter nearly 20 years ago.

Mucinex is primarily a cough suppressant and expectorant. Most of them (the original and other combinations) don't contain phenylephrine or anything for a decongestant otherwise. Mucinex works just fine, you have to get to the cold and flu combinations to find phenylephrine.

I was sick for 3 weeks starting the week right after Christmas. I went to the doctor because I felt like absolute shite. They tested me for flu and Covid and I tested positive for Covid. I am pretty sure I had something else on top of that because I was in bad shape.

I went to the pharmacy and there was some Asian dude in front of me and he looked sick. I just assumed he had Covid because he was Asian... Then I realized I stereotyped the shite out of that dude.. And I was laughing to myself because I just assumed... Asian.. Covid..I know.. Cool story.

My household has gone through it since Snowmegeddon. Started with my youngest and progressed all the way to me. I was hit the worse for whatever reason. 102-103 temps, body aches so bad my skin hurt, this hacking cough, and a migraine-like headache. The headache was the worse. Today is the 1st day I don’t have one since last Thursday.
