All good with Moore, but a rookie HC makes me a little worried with Loomis Lurking. Hope he has the balls to make demands and keep Loomis in check.

I feel like McCarthy would.

I would hope any person that wants a HC job would be that way. That being said, Loomis will say one thing and do another.

I would always hope for that, but Loomis is pretty much held on a pedestal and has authority to make almost all decisions.

Not sure Dennis Allen had the chance to make or sign off on personnel decisions. With Brady bowing out, it makes me wonder if a potential head coach feels like they will have true autonomy.

This makes no fing sense.

No HC is doing this in and business or sport.

What you hope for is that your GM buys into your HCs vision and supports him in every way he can.

Yea the coach is going to bust the GMs balls and keep him in check. That’s pretty delusional even for this site.

Out the gate, or after he hung a few banners?

You want a coach who works with your gm. If youre already arguing before you're hired it's not gonna work.

My vision is a zone blocking scheme. You want some linemen who are athletic enough to do so.

My vision is a 4-3 defense with book end guys who are lengthy (look at Dennis Allen), so we go for Payton turners and Marcus davenport.

You also want an open discussion on, look Turner looks like a bum but Greg rousseau is a not so elite athlete, good bend, but productive can you work with that? Yes? Pick him. If no than why not. Coach wins and you get Turner. Coach lost and you get foskey.

Baun was nowhere near what DA uses for a mlb/OLB, yet we went for him because Loomis and the scouting department saw talent.

Coaching fumbled that one

Have you had a meeting yet? Loomis may fall for this.

Mike was Jerry Puppet...stop it. Go stand up to your boss and report back.

You act like standing up to Loomis would accomplish something.

Payton had personnel control from day 1.

Having personnel control is not the same as "has the balls to make demands and keep Loomis in check".

It also seemed like DA had personnel control from day one, but everyone automatically assumes Loomis is suddenly going to change this and start insisting on making all personnel decisions.
