Or has DeepSeek put Nvdia on a permanent Cisco like trajectory a la early 2000s?

Own it
Not selling
Not buying
I thought it was overvalued anyway

There was a confirmed head and shoulder pattern on NVDA a few weeks ago before the early January stock market rally. Those things are powerful indicators of bad news coming even if the pattern fails. I lost $ trying to short it but made it up going long once the pattern failed. We had a big reversal Friday so I sold all my tech stocks and went short late on the Qs.
The fact that the chip stocks didn't rally much off the bottom this morning is not a good sign. I covered on the open because of a large fast gain. But, I'm may reshort the Qs if I find a good entry.
I'd look for bottoming out of NVDA before touching it long. Good luck!

I hope somebody buys.... I'm down 65% on my retirement accounts as of 11:00am
Everyone tells me, "Don't look at your stocks every day. That will drive you crazy." I wish I wouldn't have taken that advice and sold last week in the little rally...
EDIT.... The TOS app was wrong. I calculated it myself and I was down 24% at the time and down less than 20% in aftermarket. I reinstalled the app and it corrected itself... scared the shite out of me, but I held on...

Sounds like you need to add a little crypto to add a little stability in your life.

Holding steady. Have been invested for quite awhile.
It still a very profitable company. Analysts are still bullish long term.
These things are good for setting the deck after long bull runs.
People buy on the way up. Sell on the way down.

There may be a little truth to this deepseek shite, but I think it's mostly bullshite. Elon says it's bullshite and he knows a lot more about this than we do.

It did pretty much crash on traffic at about 9:00 this morning.

Elon knows frick all about AI.

I'd buy around 90. In a year or two they will announce their move into quantum computing and use it as the next big grift. Jensun always has something in his back pocket.

Grift? Jensen doesn't give me those vibes at all. Dude has been focused on making the best GPUs and building an ecosystem around it for almost 3 decades. The whole crypto boom and the AI boom was Nvidia having the right products at the right time. Not sure you can call that grift.

Geez man if your retirement account is down 65% in one day when the S&P 500 is down 2%, you might as well take that money to a casino instead.

About 12%
AAPL accounts for about 17%. For some reason, today was the best single day for AAPL in what seems like months
