Today I learned in the nfl, the refs can just give a touchdown if too many offsides happened.
Crazy rule considering the offense controls the snap and cadence.

I don't like refs interfering in a game unless it's something super obvious, but Washington were being frickin retards on defense and holding up the game. 5 offsides in a row is just stupid. They did warn them multiple times before doing anything.

I cannot believe Quinn got outscored by 30+ points in the playoffs at any point in the game. That is just unheard of.

Well it was only 3 offsides and the Philly offense did hard counts on the last two, so what is the defense supposed to do? Also that bush push used to be illegal in football, so just another example of F defense.

The fact that the commanders got this far should be a wake up call to the rest of the NFC. They’re about to have 90 mil+ in cap. They’ll be hanging around.

You realize how stupid this is and the fact of warning gives an advantage to the offense? The offense wasn’t losing anything by the defense going offsides. This is a direct advantage to the offensive side of the ball, when they already control the snap and cadence.

Meanwhile the Saints are still looking for a coach, one candidate didn’t even want to be interviewed, and the Saints could field a second team with all the dead money in the salary cap.
Money can buy only so many washed up players at the end of their careers, that lead to subpar results.
