Who would be your choice to coach the Pels?

We all know Willie Green is a nice guy and liked by everyone but he just can’t deliver the results. Should Borrego be promoted or an entire new direction? Chris Quinn is from New Orleans and is Miami’s top assistant. Sam Cassell still hasn’t been given a HC job and is the top guy in Boston. I’d just about take anything from OKC. Everything they touch turns to gold. Who would be your choice?

I have never understood the interest in him moving up. He is just as responsible for everything that has happened here as Green. Do people really believe that Green doesn't listen to him or ignores him?

Pels Yaz gaslighting played a huge part in why some of this board thought it was a good idea.

Nope but I think in the heat of the moment Willie Green doesn’t know his arse from a hole in the ground and forget everything Borrego told him, then proceeds to scream “PACE”

Yes.

If you look at JB’s scheme what we run out there is not it.

When it came to Borrego, yeah, he was the most vocal about wanting him to take over as head coach and quite a few people bought in.

So, if our offense was humming and one of the best in the league, it would be all credit to Borrego. But since it's bad and the players are floundering to operate it, the blame goes to Green. Is there any circumstance where Borrego might get any blame at all?

I watch him talking with the players and Green constantly. Are they ignoring him? Is he sneakily planning against Green and sabotaging him?

How about anybody but Willie Green, who doesn’t seem to know shite about basketball?

And by shite I mean how to run an offense, how to motivate players, how to call a timeout, and how/when to challenge a call.

Borego was the HC in Charlotte for 4 years.

the year before he took over the Hornets they took 27.2 3's per game, good for 21st in the league.
His first year in 2019:
33.9 3PA 10th in NBA
2020
34.3 3PA 14th in NBA
2021
37.0 3PA 9th in NBA
2022
38.2 3PA 6th in NBA
Then Borrego is fired.
2023
32.5 3PA 18th in NBA
2024
34.0 3PA 17th in NBA

You still think Willie is listening to him and running the type of offense Borrego wants to run?
