That's one way of creating your own shot.

I kinda feel like this kid will make a lot of money in his life. wouldn’t shock me one bit to see him play two sports professionally.

frick man Les offered LeBron a football scholarship. This might be what that looks like.

Great!
And If he can side hustle extra dollars by doing both then even better.
I don't think he'd be playing basketball if he wasn't serious about it.

It would shock me. Playing pro football and basketball are very different than pro football and baseball. Basketball and football are too demanding to pair together. Baseball has a different pace and isn’t quite as demanding on the body.

it just won’t happen.

Not a talent issue but the fact that health is a commodity, and the seasons overlap so heavily.

Seeing that makes me want to draw up shite on the football field for him in a hybrid Mason Taylor/Malik Nabors role. A pulling TE with play action where he chips a DE, runs a wheel route while he steadily widens the gap on a 230 lb linebacker, catches the ball along the sideline and obliterates a CB with a stiff arm and outruns a safety and a shooting guard on the way to a TD.

I may be on to something.

It may be gin.

I don't understand why he's wasting his time with this clown MBB coach. He could be catching 10,000 balls and hitting the weight room getting ready for Clemson in 7 months

He knows it. He loves BB. He almost left Zachary when LHSAA made him ineligible to play basketball. He looked into transferring to IMG. LSU promised him BB time if he stayed. They wanted to keep him at Zachary and out of the national spotlight.

There was a huge deal about him transferring to Zachary his senior year because of basketball. They let him play football but lhsaa denied him to play basketball there which is weird to me.

This is his AAU highlights LINK

He might be a better hooper than football player

No one needs to see besides you. Just shut up about it, he’s not playing both

Yes, in football

Every player on a college court can do that. It was a nice play for a football player though

Why would an NBA team hold a roster spot for a football player who is going to miss half the season? If a football team is heavily invested in him, why would they want him on a basketball roster during the offseason? If one sport doesn’t work out professionally, he will almost certainly try the other, but he’s not playing in the NFL and NBA at the same time.

I know people like seeing 2 sport athletes, but isn’t it kind of sad that our basketball team has a football player who hasn’t practiced basketball in 6 months and can still get PT over the actual basketball players?

Funny how he looks really lanky on the Football field but looks very built in a basketball uniform. Athletic freak is right.
