We all knew this was coming. And I am glad to see it. The biggest fraud in human history is WFH.

"JPMorgan Chase & Co. is preparing to order staffers to return to the office five days a week — becoming the latest major bank to kill its hybrid work policy, according to a report.

The bank — the largest in the US with more than 300,000 employees worldwide — is expected to announce the change in the next few weeks, according to Bloomberg, which cited people familiar with the matter."

Why?

At least half of all office jobs can be done remotely. If you have good management in place to hold people accountable, there is no problem working remotely.

Hopefully there is a tweet out there this time that will tell him the difference in hourly and salaried employees. He had trouble last time.

And JPMC trying to be a trendsetter to save their shitty CRE loans is the least shocking thing of 2025.

If a job can be done remotely, why ask them to waste their time commuting to jam up the roads more and drive the demand of gas up more? Because it’s not “fair” or some retarded bullshite reason people come up with?

If someone isn’t being productive as a WFH employee, either force that specific person to come into the office or fire them, it’s not hard.

Other than being told it's so, he's allegedly an hourly employee who can't WFH, so he's jelly.

Anybody who has ever WFH knows the "frick off" tendency is real. I have no problem with this new policy. Covid Vacation is over. Time to get back to work.

I was Correct. I told you President Trump was going to work with CEOs to end WFH and that is exactly what is happening. Despite the naysayers 2 months ago when I told you this would happen.

"C.E.O.s, and President Trump, Want Workers Back in the Office

Amazon, JPMorgan and others have been telling their employees that remote work is over. Now federal employees have been ordered to come to work in person, too"

Most jobs are unnecessary and most workers contribute a low efficiency percentage but these companies are still providing jobs that help the workforce and economy. Working from the office isnt going to increase production anymore than WFH. I don’t have a problem with private companies doing work from home but it definitely shouldn’t be a full time thing for govt employees.

One of the biggest disconnects in these arguments is forgetting just how much "frick off" exists in the office setting, and that's not even counting wasteful social interruptions causing context switching.

Nobody who is honest will say WFH lacks this wasting of time, but the dishonesty exists with the WFO folks who pretend it doesn't exist there.

Because I know way to many people who go Grocery shopping and to the Gym while being on the clock. Not to mention I had to listen to a supposedly Amazon VIP rep the other day try and provide customer service with a baby crying in the background. I asked if she was WFH and she said no she was just sick. She was lying, didn't sound sick at all. Bunch of scam artists

Most corporations have gyms at work where people can go while at work. Also how do you know who is on or off the clock or on personal time when seeing them at the store?
