Election results/Family members who disagree with you

If they don’t want to talk politics it won’t come out of my mouth, but you know liberals are the ones who can’t shut up, lol. Liberals are mostly emotionally unstable.

Everyone in my extended family vote R as for as I know. So any that disagree keep their mouth shut. I recently found out one lean a bit to the left of the rest of us. I don't know if that even means that person votes D. So it is basically 30-0 or 29-1 at worst.

The fact that folks -including blood relations- can’t have or share critical thought or discourse is part of the problem, not a solution.

Rigorous debate should be the norm and the expectation, not fear…

Some of us guys will have some vigorous but non-emotional political debates out back, but otherwise family is more important. We all love each other and that’s what comes first.

Half of my family are libs or at least hate Trump. We don't talk about it

I’ve been giving Mrs Salty1 hell for months. She suffers from a mild case of TDS (you’d have to know her back story, not that it justifies ignorance). I’m not letting up either, just the opposite. frick it…kids are grown. I have nothing to lose.

Between my 6 adult kids and their spouses and the spouses parents we don't have a single democrat in the bunch.

Have not spoken to my 86 year old mother since Oct 2020 when she posted nonstop for 3 days wishing death on Trump when he had Covid. She has been brainwashed by the legacy media. She is consumed with hate and has lost the ability to be a critical thinker. I despise the media and everything the Democrat party has become.
