Everyone wants a young guy, but older coaches in their 2+ gig overwhelmingly win the SB.

So how many of those coaches in your list have won 2 Super Bowls?

There does seem to be a lot more retread success in pros than in college. Probably because so much of your success in pros is out of your control because you can’t just recruit your own players. Especially at QB. I mean the main difference in all of the second stint coaches is they got a Mount Rushmore qb in the second stint.

Belichick, Kubiak, Arians, Reid. It’s not some magic to being better your second go round or as you age, but they had Brady, Manning, and Mahomes in their second stints and not their first.

Brady manning or Mahomes ain’t walking through the saints door.

So basically Andy Reid and Bill B.

They are taking up like half this list. There aren't a lot of others like them and their domination.

McVay and Payton were first time HCs when they won right? Mike McCarthy as well?

Awful op. Joe Brady (35) is closer in age to bellichick when he was hired by the Pats (47) than a 61 year old McCarthy.

Regardless of who we hire I surely hope age is not the deciding factor. Hopefully it’s has something to do with winning football games. Idk that’s just me

Yes he's joking; only two coaches on that long-arse list have actually won a Super Bowl with their second team. So what point is the OP trying to make? that list he posted is worthless

I don't care about the age. I just don't want a retread coach that has been fired 5 times.
