She is oblivious to her tarnished reputation. Despite plastering her name across Tom's businesses and other institutions, this failed interior designer—sued 24 times and once arrested for fraud—will be remembered as the one who destroyed the Saints, Pelicans, and Dixie beer.
And the Saints decline is directly her doing. She is AFRAID to fire Lauscha and Lauscha would rather sleep with Teedy than fire Loomis.

Well said. It takes a lot to make us think Rita would’ve been a better owner but it’s becoming more obvious daily.
Gayle needs to gift the team to Rita and convert her shares to voting immediately.

I had personal interactioins with Rita and she was not a pleasant person. But it does not mean Gayle is better. I watched first hand as my Dad remarried after my mother died and the new one tried to push his kids and grandkids away., We even found her diary after my dad came to his senses and in it she admitted plotting to keep my dad's grandkids away.
Gayle did it to Tom when he was in cognitive decline and oushed out Renee,Rita,Ryan Leblanc and anyone else close who realized what she was doing like Rodney Henry.

Spot on. I can't say how but I was around Tom and Gayle for a very very brief moment when the fued was all in the news. Gayle is a cut throat woman and Tom was out of his mind, yet the news was acting like it was Tom who was cutting his family out. The news was reporting these elaborate statements made by Tom but at that time, he didn't even know where he was during the moment.

History is not going to look favorably on Gayle as it’s starting to look more and more like Rita was in the right for roughing Gayle up a little in Benson’s suite in front of invited guests and dignataries.

She has, and never had any interest in owning a football team. She likes owning one of the most prominent businesses in the city, but doesn't want to have anything to do with actually running the business. Lauscha and Loomis are happy to run it...and that's just fine with Gayle.
It's an odd situation indeed because most owners earned the money to own their teams through their business pursuits. Thus, they have a vested interest in wanting their football business to be successful. Gayle just married into the wealth and has no strong desire to play any role in the business other than technically being the owner.

Tom was a piece of shite who wanted to move the team after Katrina. The Saints were not some Kansas City or New England dynasty when he was alive. Because he put Loomis in the position he is in is why the Saints are in the shite.

I never said Tom was a Saint but he was a decent businessman, He moved on from Finks and Mueller and would have canned Loomis by this point if he were alive and not gone senile.
Gayle is only concerned with her legacy. She has no heirs to leave her money to so it is only about getting her name on stuff, She is in a bubble built by Lauscha,
