McCarthy is the best hire

If you want to win a Super Bowl sooner rather than later, McCarthy is your guy.
Here are my reasons why:
1. He's already won a Super Bowl as a HC. He knows what it takes.
2. Head Coaches in their first stint typically take a while to adjust. A veteran (5 plus years) head coach has won 2 of the last 11 Super Bowls. McVay & Pederson are the two that were in their first stint, and won within 5 years. LA was the NFL darling when McVay became the HC. And do we really want Pederson? It looks like he caught lightning in a bottle bc he has not been able to sustain success for shite. He appears to be the NFL version of Coach Eaux.
3. He's well respected across the league. He should be able to attract high quality assistant coaches.

While I wouldn't mind Mike, this statement isn't happening with the Saints. We've had the same roster for like 6 years, it's time to blow it up.

No coach is winning a Super Bowl here anytime soon unfortunately.

Maybe not, but he's the best for the situation we are in.
A brand new head coach in the situatuin the Saints are in is a recipe for disaster.
We need somebody that knows a thing or two about putting a staff together for long term success.

We seriously should consider offering Kingsbury, Lincoln Reilly or anybody of that ilk.. the roster the roster … we need someone who could be innovative enough to work with what got… Rattler should be giving a chance to start also..

What?! This dude is washed up and you want him to coach an already declining team?

Didn’t he win 12 games 3 out of 5 years in Dallas? LOL, maybe not what he once was, but washed up is a little strong.

He’d be a retread hire of a coach that has been fired from his last two jobs.
He’s the definition of a “meh” hire
You all know he won’t win here. He’d use this as one last big pay check before retiring.

Those of you pushing McCarthy are the same people who thought Dennis Allen was a good hire

He always was the best choice.

Negative! DA was a proven failure @ HC. Now he's just more of a proven failure @ HC.
Somebody is going to get a really good DC for a long time, bc he aint going anywhere to be a HC.

Yeah. That's what the Commanders were saying last year too.

You let me know when we get a Jayden Daniels level talent at the QB position,

Nobody thought DA was a good hire.

He's not the best hire, he just the only one stupid enough to take this position after being Jerry's whooping boy for years, might as well go grab an old out of touch white guy to soothe the comfortability of our fans.

Super Bowl? He has won one super bowl and he is the best hire?

Better than Glenn, which isn’t saying much. I’d rather Joe Brady and aim for a higher ceiling with a lower floor. I’m worried McCarthy is there to collect last checks before he’s fired in 2-3 years to end his career.

The current condition of the Saints kinda dictates a “meh” hire.
