Disney remaking "Holes"

Disney announced that they are planning a pilot for a possible series based on a remake of the Shai LeBouf classic "Holes". BUT BEING DISNEY.... it will be a "girl's" detention camp in Texas with a "female" cast, where they have to dig holes. I have no idea how they are going to get around the plot point of "Stanley Yelnats" name being the same backwards and forwards (spoiler but old movie). Another "remake that does not have to be made!
