In turning the ball over. LSU is #313, out of 355 D1 teams, averaging 13.9 turnovers per game. Against A&M on Saturday, 32 minutes into the game, LSU had 16 turnovers- a turnover every other minute.

Steady decline for McMahon's teams from Year 1 (12.3 turnovers/game), to Year 2 (13.2 turnovers/game), to this year (13.9 turnovers/game).

This sloppy product is frustrating to watch, and it's only getting worse. A coaching change is desperately needed, sooner than later.

It's really done this season in. SMU/Vandy/Tamu were all winnable games, just imagine if we don't turn the ball over a 4th of our possessions.

What does a 14 or 15 win LSU team look like resume wise? Hell they would probably be ranked with all the hype the SEC is getting rn.

Dji Bailey dribbled the ball off his foot out of bounds TWICE last night. Never happened before in the history of basketball.

Perhaps they should go back to playing "street ball" like the Rantards thought Wade played.

Tamu was the game where the margin was really bad. And most of that in the second half, if my memory serves me.

LSU net turnovers (LSU TO - Opponent TO)

Pitt -2

SMU -2

Vandy -6

MIzzou -3

Ole Miss -4

aTm -9

Offensive Rebounds

Pitt +2

SMU -6

Vandy -12

MIzzou -3

Ole Miss +3

aTm -8

The only reason Vandy did not blow us out by double digits is because we shot better from the field (50% to 43.8%) and significantly better at the free throw line (82% vs 66.7%)

A&M was also closer than it could have been because of Free throws (88.9% vs 42.9%)

At least the team is hitting free throws.

If Woodward gave a frick about men's basketball (obviously we know he doesn't), he'd fire McMahon after this year. But he won't. McMahon is good for at least 1-2 years. Yay mediocrity.

Bulls have lost 5 in a row and 3-7 in their last 10. They need a new voice in there, preferably some time around the middle of February.

You’re 100% correct and it’s not a matter of resources, it’s a matter of not giving a shite. So McMahon makes the same amount as Mark Few, he makes the same amount Oats made on his first contract with Bama so it’s not because we won’t pay what good coaches want it’s because we don’t even give enough of a shite to care whether they’re doing the job or that we’re just dumping millions into a black hole. The more you look into it the worse it becomes.

Bama dropping 100+ on Vandy.

How bad are we going to lose on Saturday @Bama?

It’s a Nate Oates team. They go fast, they shoot 3’s, and their guards get offensive rebounds. They probably won’t beat us by 40 liek years past, just because they are a little turnover prone themselves. But it probably won’t be pretty after our token 4-8 minutes of brain dead we have each game. Hopefully we aren’t in foul trouble.

So each coach has an identity.

John Brady made a comment in the Texas A&M game about A&M playing poorly, but LSU couldn’t do anything despite that. They just kept squandering opportunities by just turning the ball over. A couple of times they couldn’t even get a shot off in time.
