The oath is taken with hand on Bible, period.
I don't like it.
Trump should have asked "Where is the Bible ? I refuse to be sworn in without my hand on the Bible".
One minute he is speaking of his life being spared by divine intervention.
A few minutes later he takes the oath without his hand on the Bible.

I understand that your simple mind can't comprehend that it's disrespectful for a guy who claims that God spared his life to not insist that he take the oath with hand on Bible, especially since that is normal protocol.

Just watched the replay again...that was all Roberts fault. Trump was simply listening to Roberts instructions, Melania wasn't even in position with the Bible when Roberts started the swearing.
