He’s building something special here.

Agreed. Soon even the diehards will stop caring. Even TJ and CJJ couldn’t accomplish that.

He gets forever because he is nice and clean.

I don’t see why results even matter, as long as everyone is having fun.

I'm very confident we may get a slot in the 2026 NIT. After that (2027), NCAA 8 to 11 seed. The seven-year plan is on a trajectory . . .

Scotty has no problem mortgaging our football future yet keeps MM around for some reason.

Men’s basketball is third in Scott’s cares.

It’s football that takes up probably 98 percent of his care, baseball 1 percent and then MBB .5 and the rest fill out the .5.

The problem is our 98 percent sport isn’t delivering playoff appearances or titles. It’s delivering beatings in shite bowls though.

I think the care level is probably right when you look at budget impact as an AD.

Exactly. Keeping score is so unhealthy. It only leads to competitiveness and feelings of inferiority/superiority. Those dynamics can really end up hurting people’s feelings. We need to just let the kids have fun.

They are only kids, not pro athletes. I think the crowd size at the pmac would allow for us to pass a sign up sheet around to see which fan will bring a cooler of drinks and fruit slices for the kids to have after the game.

MM is the placeholder until they can sell a top tier coach on new facilities.

I like that he’s not willing to pay players to come to LSU himself.

I’d prefer they maintain him after this season for purely selfish reasons as I look to get some new seats next year before the inevitable firing.

I'm fairly certain he'll be here next year, but even in the apathetic fan reality that is LSU men's basketball, if we do this again.....CMM will start feeling some heat from sources other than our quaint small group here on droppings...in other words the folks who make decisions.

"The team has great chemistry"

"The Big Time"

Wade's signature slogan "Boot Up" is still being used.

"You think this team enjoys losing".

Unfortunately it's going to get worse before it gets better.

McMahon lost me in year with his lack of energy and lack of caring. Wade turned around the program by out working everyone and building excitement in the pmac. McMahon doesn’t do any of that. And with NIL it doesn’t take time. If you get the talent they are gone after 1 year. Year 3 and to be the bottom of the sec that’s on him and time to move on. I am a season ticket holder and go to every game. My wife loves it because she doesn’t have to worry about cell service in the pmac like under wade because it’s half empty for sec games

They’ve gotta be feeling it from everyone else. No one is at the games.

He gets next year. That’s just the way it’s laying out. Results do matter but finances do too. He’s got a lot to
Improve on to see his 5th year. I’d like to think he’s capable but I’m not leaning that way.

I know a lot of people are being sarcastic, but I’m genuinely curious how he has gotten this reputation of being the greatest human being to ever coach basketball? You would swear he’s on a path to become a Saint.
