It's like they refuse to work or attack the basket on offense. They just pass the ball around way out in three point land.

Anyone who isn’t angry with Matt McMahon clearly doesn’t watch anyone else play.

Watching a thrilling egg bowl and then turning on LSU is nothing short of torture.

I agree why pick and roll if you never throw it to roll guy.

Trying to support the guy but my goodness man, Trent Johnsons offense at least threw in the odd shuffle cut. Our 5’2 PG dribbles for 25 seconds and launches a brick. Rinse, repeat.

I not taking up for him or blaming him but sometimes players don't do what they are coached to do. I know that from coaching myself. That could be the case here,or a coach not having a game plan. With all that said we are tied at the half with the #11 team in the country I'll guess I'll take it.

They are too tentative as a team.

When your ball handlers are as bad as ours, it’s hard to run any kind of offense. They are historically bad.

Part of it seams we they don't know where to set up on offense

Well good coaches seem to have their players listen more and FLUCK UP less than this arse hat's players do. So there's that.

A&M played great defense but I agree, tigers didn’t attempt to attack the paint enough. Bailey and carter play the wing role but are really just mature guards. Ward would help. A&M will force most teams to take poor shots the rest of the year, just their identity.

I haven't joined in to the Mcbashing, but have to agree after this game. We don't seem to have an offensive strategy. Things got worse when we went to Givens as a starter.

How many times to you watch one of these games and see either Bailey, Fountain, Chest or Givens in one of the corners. None of these players are shooting over 25% on threes. If that is what your offense is geared toward then you are doomed. Bring on Tre Dez Green. Let's see what he's got.

Watch the opposing D, everyone’s eyes are on the ball handier. When you’re running good offense off ball defenders have their heads on a swivel or have to totally take their eyes off the ball to fight through screens or close out on guys. When we run offense it’s almost like 1 on 5, nothing is happening off ball and the opponent is always able to stay connected.

5 on 5 AAU style practices if I had to guess. MM seems more like a company man/assembly line style coach from what I’ve seen and heard on his interviews. If you notice he makes it a point to not discuss Xs and Os, the most you’ll get is some vague comments about transition game mixed in with generic tropes about turnovers and rebounding but nothing ever specific. Mostly he talks about locker room vibes and family atmosphere which is a good thing but there’s never anything specific to basketball, matchups or individual development.
