A young woman has reportedly been left with horrific injuries after leaving a sex toy inserted during an MRI scan.
The unnamed 23-year-old had a silicone plug in her back passage while undergoing medical imaging and is said to have suffered a dangerous reaction with the scanner.
An MRI scan uses strong magnets and radio waves to create highly detailed images of the inside of your body, and it’s important to remove any metal objects from your body before having one.
But, unbeknown to the woman, the sex toy she was using – which she thought was 100 percent silicone – actually contained metal in its core.
This caused the adult item to be “dragged through her body,” causing the patient to “scream in pain,” a report filed with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FSA) stated.

While the incident occurred in April 2023, an image allegedly showing the patient’s scan following the event has recently begun circulating online, prompting warnings against wearing any metal objects during a scan.

Being a dumb slut hurts sometimes I guess

That's why I always say you should remove the butt plug before the MRI. But nobody ever takes me seriously.

New Warning on the MRI machine
“Please make sure all dildo’s and butt plugs are removed prior to entry”

back passage
Well that’s one way to say it

I’m pretty sure I would remove anything ‘nonessential’ whether I thought it would interfere with the machine or not.

Sounds like some new questions will be added to the pre-scan questions....are you wearing a butt plug right now?

Kinda surprised the NYpost wrote this. Sometimes this story is about a guy with a sex toy, sometimes it's a woman. The story seems to get recycled every so often.

Heck, I had an MRI of my lungs... and had to take off my CGM. Sure wouldn't leave anything shoved up my bunghole. I mean, I wouldn't have to remove anything because I'd never put anything up there in the first place, but still... just how stupid do you have to be?

MRI is rarely ever used for lungs.

Correct you are. Was CT, NOT MRI for lungs. My bad. Doc THOUGHT he saw some lung nodules or something like that on my chest X-Ray. Still had to take the CGM off for that.
