Boiled --- $7.49 per lb.

Was at a restaurant in Houston that had them last weekend
10.99 per lb
Or 5 lbs for 49.99

They had them at Willie's before the holidays, but I didn't ask the price.

Rouses in Laf has been selling boiled crawfish since Jan 1st.

We live in San Antonio. Wife brought back a sack from a visit to Louisiana. Crawfish were nice size and not too soft.

There is only a “Crawfish Season” when it comes to living outside where they are farmed.

A couple of years ago, I at at Pat’s in Henderson. Server asked me what type of gumbo do I want with my meal and one of the options was crawfish. I asked, “are crawfish in season”? She looked at me and said, what do you mean? They are never out of season. So I said, okay then, I will have the crawfish gumbo.

They've had them in Rouses (NOLA) since November and really small, about the size of a little pinky or slightly bigger. It's almost impossible not to overcook that size AND get spice in them so until they get bigger I'll pass.
