Titan unless you just want to spend for the name brand or the kabuki transformer bar.

I have had my Titan for 4 years with zero issues. I use it one to two days per week. Pad is still firm. Bar is solid with no rotation.

Yes I own one. Padding is great, I wish the handles were longer but it isn’t necessary, I just like them longer. Also, a guy in the gym brings in his own titan SSB, and he treats it rough, still holding up.

Marrs bar

not a safety bar, its a low bar squat bar, 2 different movements

the three best right now are going to be titan, elitefts and the transformer bar. I know rep makes a nice one, but havent personally lifted on it. regular rogue sucks btw

the titan is a clone of the elitefts and is actually better quality. make sure its the V2. its the best thing titan makes besides the squatmax md.

Can you define a SSB?

I know precisely what you’re saying, but it’s still a SSB.

That Marrs bar looks sweet! Looks way more comfortable than a traditional SSB.

yes, the marrs bar places the bar much further down the back putting the emphasis on the hips and forces you into a low bar squat position

the ssb is designed to place the emphasis on the upper back and quads and to be done in a more upright position for the most part.

both are great for shoulder health and comfort when squatting. SSB has more carry over to sprinting and jumping

comfort wise....it is prolly number one. It all depends on what you are looking for

comfort while doing general lifting/saving the shoulders while being able to perform low bar squat...marrs is better

for performance, carry over to sports and things like speed and jumping....ssb is better

both are great bars, just different purposes. Marrs was created to help save the shoulders of those low bar squating and for comfort while doing so. SSB was made to help shoulders, place emphasis on upper back while doing a high bar squat.

I've tried a SSB a few times. I just can't get really comfortable with it. I would love a Marrs for Squatober. The last two years I got really bad biceps tendonitis from the amount of squats.

i have found, through my own training and training others...the ssb is harder than regular squats and if your upper back is weak even a little.....will fold you

i have only used the marrs bar for a second just to try it, so no real opinion on it, but i do know why it was created and what it is meant for. It would be good for squatober for sure.

SSB with Hatfield squats is one of my goat quad movements unless you have a belt squat. Takes so much pressure off my low back, mainly because I have a slight forward lean

Got the Titan a month ago.

Damn. I haven't done normal squats in years but I've been doing heavy leg workouts. Didn't matter. I'm having to start at 135 lbs on this thing even though I'm doing 500 or so on the leg press. argh. I know it will come up. Just hate being patient.

Don't know what your budget is but EliteFTS has their SS Yoke Bar on sale for $379.99. All their stuff is quality. Have not used it though.

LINK

My gym has the Rogue SSB and it's a great bar. That one currently running at $465.00.

the titan is a clone of the elitefts but an upgrade over the painted weight collars

the rogue is terrible imo. pads are way to far apart unless you are huge huge guy

so crepnsek used to be the best, was the most balanced but they went out of business

then elitefts but titan upgraded that bar. Rep then upgraded that

for regular squating....marrs is most comfortbale but its money

the kabuki transformer is most versatile but have to buy from rogue or its dog shite quality since duffin got out of kabuki

the fringe sport longhorn bar is the best "bent" bar quality vs value wise. I like it a lot

now for neutral grip cambered bars, i highly recommend either getting the rogue or actualyl trying the bars. I got the kabuki Kadillac bar without trying because it was supposed to be the best by far at the time....well it absolutely kills my shoulders and i can only use it for rows. now my kids use it and doesnt bother them but they dont like the balance of it so doesnt get used much except for rows and then also i put it in the ring straps and we use it for jammer presses some.
