Do you remember the Baton Rouge scammer Kevin?

He’s still out there! He just approached me at a gas pump at RaceTrac on Essen. The eager bastard waved and knocked on my window asking me to roll down the window. As he reached in to attempt to shake my hand and start his bullshite and laughed and “not today Kevin! frick off!” And he said “no problem” and walked behind the store. This is my 3rd encounter with Red Stick most infamous peddler over the years. Any one else as blessed as me?

week or so back he was walking around the Walmart parking lot off Siegen Ln...he started to approach me but never said a word as the look I gave him told him all he needed to know...

I remember the old black dude on Brightside that waved to everyone. One time we bought him a Caniac Combo and you would have thought we Ed McMahon showing up on his doorstep.

Was the Happy Waver actually a scammer? I always assumed that he was just mentally challenged/disabled and waved to people for fun.

Seen him recently on O’Neal, Millerville, and Airline at Old Hammond. Even at the Wal Mart that he’s supposedly trespassed from. Drugs are bad.

Yeah, I loved the waving guy. Can’t think of his name or at least the name everyone said. He was just a little mentally off and liked to wave. He wasn’t scamming nor homeless.

You can go post your encounter on the FB page that keeps up with him. I read not too long ago that local Walmart and Sam’s Clubs asked people to tell their managers if he was in their parking lots because they had a restraining order or something like that against him and could get him arrested.

Kevin has been known to get aggressive when others are warning potential targets if his bullshite. He seems to be in the Airline/Coursey/Sherwood area a lot.

Twice at the Exxon on the corner of Airline and Coursey. Several years apart. Had no answer when I asked how anyone could be so unlucky to lose their wallet and run out of gas on the way to a sales call twice in 3 years.

I offered him $5 to take a selfie with me but he wouldn't do it. That was at the Walmart in Prairieville about 9 months ago.
